Kensington Creative Worldwide, Inc. (kcw) celebrates several key achievements in 2003. Not only have we added new marketing talent to our team, we are proud to announce that our marketing efforts have recently earned us six new prestigious communications awards.

In February, Andrea Staertow Henry joined kcw as Director of Marketing Communications. In that role, Andrea has responsibility for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns for kcw clients. Andrea brings 7 years of marketing, product management, and business development experience to the team. Andrea ensures that kcw is ahead of the curve by staying on top of the latest marketing concepts and strategies, and plans to receive her MBA from the University of Maryland in May of 2004.

In September, Chasie Powell joined kcw as Director of Sales. As a former staffer in the Majority Leader’s office on Capitol Hill, and five years as the Sales Manager of a prestigious political publication, Chasie brings a unique mix of political and marketing experience to the team. Chasie attributes her past success to being a strategic thought leader. As Director of Sales, Chasie will be kcw’s lead for new business development. In other news, kcw has recently earned six distinguished marketing and graphic design awards:

  • Congressional Quarterly’s 2003 Media Kit, the publication’s key corporate
    relations and advertising sales vehicle brought home two awards of
    distinction from The Communicator, and an American Graphic Design award from Graphic Design:usa;
  • Pet Vet Hospital’s Web Site won an award of distinction from The
    Communicator for its innovative and effective approach;
  • Exxon Mobil Corporation’s 2003 Marine Lubricants Calendar scored an
    American Graphic Design award from Graphic Design: usa; and
  • Kensington Creative Worldwide’s 2002 Corporate Calendar was honored with an American Graphic Design award from Graphic Design:usa for excellent self promotion. kcw was also recognized for the packaging of its calendar, with an Award of Excellence from American Corporate Identity 19.
